"ON-SITE" SERVICE PROGRAMS

L&R’s primary business is serving the document management, printing and distribution needs of A/E/C firms and others involved in planning, design, development and construction.

We believe that "On-Site" program services are highly beneficial to our A&E customers – in terms of support, productivity, quality, control, accountability and cost.

L&R offers manned and unmanned On-Site programs. What does that mean?

In a manned program, we provide personnel who work full-time at your office to operate/support the equipment we install at your office. An unmanned program simply means that we don’t provide personnel on-site at your office.

We generally provide manned programs for firms with 60 or more employees. Below that, we typically do unmanned programs. Keep in mind that there is no hard and fast rule about this – we can do manned programs for firms with 25 or more employees, although we do not believe that manned programs are cost-effective for firms of that size.

Reprographics & imaging expenses are not an insignificant expense for most A/E/C firms. In fact, over a period of years the amount of money A/E/C firms pay out for reprographics & imaging services can be very significant. One of the primary objectives of L&R’s style of on-site programs is to reduce our customer’s "net out of pocket cost" for reprographics & imaging. Our program addresses the issue of accountability in a very logical, thorough manner. Through improved accountability, we can, over time, help our customers save a substantial amount of money. L&R’s on-site program can also have an impact on operating costs – a positive impact on your bottom line – because our program implements processes that enhance CAD operator / workstation productivity. Our customers tell us, "We can produce more work with the same number of personnel." We know that labor costs are the most significant line item cost at every A&E firm. L&R’s on-site program offers an on-site program package that gives A/E/C firms the ability to generate more work in less time. In other words, we aren’t just printers.
